This will be the first Ocean Connection Week in Sri Lanka, all classes and organisation will be done by me, Tinne: experienced longboard coach at the longboard academy. I have a deep passion for the ocean, longboards and teaching. For over 10 years I’ve dedicated my life to teaching surfing and since 4 years at the Longboard Academy. Since a few years I’ve expanded my teaching skills to yoga and meditation. I basically want to share with you my passions and life lessons they’ve taught me! I honestly can’t wait to share this week with you. Traveling through Sri Lanka gave me such a deep sense of connection, gratitude, and joy and I’d love for you to experience that too. Think of it as your week to reconnect with the ocean, with others, and with yourself. And I’ll be right there with you, guiding, sharing, and living it all together.

level: Beginner to intermediate
This “Ocean Connection week” is for anyone seeking deeper connection. With the ocean, with nature, and with themselves. Your level of surfing is less important than your wish to connect. The objective is to use surfing as a tool for self development and connection. Very high level surfers might want to travel to a nearby beach for a reef break with different type of waves. All levels are welcome and will get the attention needed.

It’s more than just a surf retreat, it’s a week to slow down, reconnect with yourself and the ocean, and discover how surf, yoga, and reflection can guide you both in and out of the water. what is included?
This immersive experience is designed to help you reconnect with yourself, nature, and the ocean through surf, yoga, and mindful practices. To make sure that connections are genuine and you get real and personal atention, I’ve limited the spaces to maximum 6 participants.
The Ocean Connectio week in Sri Lanka includes:
- Transfer from and to the airport
- Longboard classes
- Yoga classes
- Meditation and reflexion sessions
- 6 nights of accomodation
- 6 breakfast, lunch and dinner
- 1 day excursion to explore the surroundings
Not included:
- Small extra charge for transfer with longboard
- Any extras on the island
- Longboard rental
- travel insurance
- Flights not included.
can I rent a longboard?
For this particular trip, you need to bring your own longboard, there are some for rent on the island but only of medium quality, or if you’re a beginner we can provide a softboard for you.
If you don’t have one, please contact us to help you find one.

Breakfasts, lunches and dinners, as well as accommodation are all included in the total price of the “coaching week”, so that your only “concern” when you come is to make the most of this week in Sri Lanka
*In the case of having any intolerance or specific preference related to the meals, please let us know and the kitchen team will prepare what you need.
